A person can be charged with pandering under penal code 266i for procuring someone else for the purpose of prostitution, forcing another person to become a prostitute, procuring a place for prostitution to occur, forcing someone to remain as a prostitute, procuring someone else to become a prostitute in the state through fraud or threat, or accepting money or giving money for procuring or attempting to procure someone to enter or leave the state to be a prostitute.
