While Marvel movie fans around the globe are reeling after viewing the latest Avengers installment, it looks as though Tony Stark and his super-powered friends may be needed for a real-life investigation in Los Angeles. Los Angeles police have announced that they are currently investigating the apparent theft of an Iron Man costume worn by Robert Downey Jr. in the popular movies, which have been produced since 2008. The costume is the only item missing from the warehouse where it was being stored. Believed to be worth around $325,000, the costume is said to have disappeared from storage at some point between February and April this year. The loss was discovered when a warehouse employee decided to check on it on Tuesday, May 8, realizing it was no longer where it was supposed to be.

LAPD has not divulged information about who the prop storage warehouse, located in the 13000 blocks of Weidner Street, belongs to.
